Sammi is originally from Russell, Kansas. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Kansas State University (EMAW). Her study included Music Theory, Choir, Private Lessons, and Aural Skills, among many other things. She met her husband Wyatt there and moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area after getting married. Fort Bragg is their first duty station. Sammi has taken professional vocal instruction for 8 years and has taught vocal instruction for 1 year. She has a background in musical theatre and dance. She was a team member of the Kansas State Swingin’ Spurs country dance team. She has been a seasoned preacher’s kid for 8 years. She grew up singing in the choir and being the punchline of sermon jokes. During her spare time, she enjoys going on walks, watching movies, and pestering her chubby cat, Mabel. She holds the act of vocal worship close to her heart and hopes to encourage others to discover the joy it brings.
