Highway Cleanup

Spout Springs Church partners with North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) to clean up a stretch of Highway 87. The cleanup outreach takes place throughout the year. It's an easy way to get involved in serving our community and caring for our God-given resources.

Questions & Answers about Highway Cleanup

Where do we meet for highway clean up?

We meet at the corner of Calvary Church Road and Highway 87 (across from the road to Benhaven School).

What time is clean up?

Each Highway Cleanup event takes place from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and whether or not you might need sunscreen or bug spray.

How old do I have to be to participate?

It is required by NCDOT that participants be ages 12 and older. This is to ensure the safety of everyone serving.

Do I need to bring my own supplies?

Considering bringing some gloves and water, but the rest of the equipment you will need is provided.
